I offer sewing on Saturdays and fiber art workshops on Tuesdays in my home studio. If you are interested in attending, please contact me.
Beading Workshop – Free Form Peyote Stitch
During two days, participants will learn to use the Peyote Stitch in Free Form Style with Irene Dizes. Knowledge of Peyote Stitch is preferred.

A couple of nice scarf projects from one of my recent Tuesday Felting workshops.
Beading Workshop
Learn the art of beading, the numerous stitches in making a beautiful necklace or bracelet, freeform beading technique, beaded closures, and working with a variety of beads to create a unique and original piece of jewelry. $85 all day class with maximum of 4 participants.
Felted Vest or Jacket
Please join me in making a vest or jacket from felted fabric yardage that you have designed. We will be working from a Vogue pattern. I’ll give you some suggestions that will work for felted fabric. Arriving on Friday night we’ll discuss our patterns. I will be making pattern adjustments that will work for you before we cut out your pattern. I can accommodate three people in my home studio. $225.
Rhapsody in blue is a series of three vests uniquely designed using a combination of three different nuno felted fabrics. Series 2 is an asymetrical design of nuno felted silk using purple/turqoise Harrisville wool batt and Marino wool roving. Surface designed embellishment; closure is covered buttons. Back length 21 in., total circumference 42 in., size s/m. May be hand washed in cold water; wrap in a towel to eliminate water, lay flat and pat into place.

Using felted Merino wool, 1 day session, $75/person + materials, max of (5) participants.
Felted grey-white Icelandic wool with green prefelt accents black leather handles 12 inches x 15 inches.

Felted Journal Workshop
Using Merino wool, make a removable hand-
embellishment. One (1) day session $75 per person + materials, max 5 participants.
Pink Merino roving nuno felted on hand dyed silk embellished with cream flower. Inside pocket for business cards. 6 inches wide x 8 inches long.
Purple/red combination of Merino roving nuno felted embellished with red beaded flower. Inside pocket for business cards and pen holder. 6 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches long.
Multicolored red/green Merino roving nuno felted on hand dyed silk embellished with a felted red flower. Free-motion stitching and couched gold thread by machine. Inside pocket for business cards. 7 1/2 inches wide x 9 inches long.
Golden threads of yellow nuno felted Merino roving with hand dyed silk machine stitched. Indexed journal pages with pen holder. 4 1/2 inches wide x 6 inches long.
Orange and copper felted Merino roving with embellished felted orange flower and free-motion machine stitched in gold thread. Inside folder pocket and with a pen holder. 5 inches wide x 7 inches long.
Purple and gold Merino roving nuno felted journal with hand dyed silk. Embellished with a purple felted flower. Inside pocket for business cards and with a pen holder. 6 1/4 inches wide x 8 1/4 inches long.
Turquoise and gold nuno felted Merino roving with hand dyed silk. Embellished with a turquoise flower. Inside pocket for business card and pen holder. 6 inches wide x 8 1/4 inches long.
